The Levitation Nation Aerial Studio in Kalispell, MT opened its doors February of 2015, offering aerial fitness to the Flathead Valley. At Levitation Nation, certified instructors and aerial performers teach unique classes on pole fitness, aerial silks, and aerial hoop, and the catch phrase “fitness is fun” is embodied alongside a culture of movement and healthy living. Participants of classes have been known to speak of the community of people there who “lift each other up,” and how they have “accomplished things they never thought they would be capable of.”

All classes are suitable for total beginners, and any & all fitness levels!  Aerial hoop instructor Meghan Paris says “for the hoop class, we hang equipment at a variety of heights, so there is success around the room in executing rewarding poses from very first day!”

Pole fitness instructor Mariah Gladstone talks about her favorite choreography: “The moves are kept very simple, so anyone can execute the routine! It is perfect not only for our beginners class, but we also use it for bachelorette parties, where we only have a short time with the women.”

Other classes available include "Glow and Flow" black-light yoga, youth cirque classes (which run through the school year), week-long workshops over the summer for ages 6 and up, and occasionally acro-yoga workshops for adults!

The studio’s most dedicated students emerged from the classes to form The Levitation Nation Aerial Troupe in 2016. The troupe creates unique and mesmerizing performances, acts which they have performed at music festivals & circus shows throughout western United States. Their performers have trained with and shared the stage with acrobats from Cirque Du Soleil; to Cirque Du Monde & Cirque Phenix, and hold titles themselves in the Pole Sport Organization’s Competitions. Locally, you can catch their acts at events such as The Princess Ball and Casey's Bar in Whitefish.
